Read work orders or use RF scanners to locate exact product storage spots.. Pull correct item quantities from shelves safely and quickly.. Operate material handling equipment, e.g. pallet jack.. Stage picked items in designated packing or loading zones.. Pack goods securely into appropriate pallets or boxes to prevent damage.. Wrap, band, or shrink-wrap pallets as required by client rules.. Apply correct barcode, destination, and shipping labels to packages.. Sort and group packed orders for outbound shipping.. Update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) in real time.. Report missing stock, damaged goods, or picking errors to a supervisor.. Do routine cycle counts and physical stock checks.. Keep the work area clean and obey all workplace safety rules.. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), apply hazard tape to protruding items, and report unsafe conditions or equipment defects immediately.
