My overall experience is in sales and administration, but since I've worked for almost seven years in a bookstore that's in charge of delivering the newspaper for our country, I have a good experience in dispatching at least newspaper for around all of my city. As I'm based on a quite small country like Uruguay is, we have about 4 million people in total. We don't use a lot of these type of software, especially on a shop like I worked at, because the focus was not delivering things, so we didn't use software as this, but I'm quite fond of using new software and I can get very quickly acquainted with any software I roll.

Since we work with people, the most common challenge were mixed-ups, where delivery boys would deliver boxes to the wrong bus, not get on time, or just get mixed up in general. Since we had a clear record of what went out, how many boxes went out, to what bus it went out, we just communicated with clients or get the boy back to where he was, where he delivered the wrong boxes, and pick up the wrongly delivered boxes. And it was pretty easy since we had a good communication with them, we had a clear record of everything, it was easy to fix up any mistakes.

In a previous role I worked at, we managed a lot of local dispatch requests within about a to come range from the business I worked at, and we needed to deliver to buses, which went out on very specific times. So we had to manage based on urgency, on how many boxes needed to go out, and who was available closest to the buses we were delivering at. And since everything was nearby, we needed very clear communication, quick coordination to help keep deliveries organized and moving efficiently during busy times.

And I had to prioritize who was available closest to the next delivery. Since everything was nearby, I needed a clear communication and quick coordination. That was very important for me to keep everything organized, make things move efficiently, especially during busy times.
