Monitor site activities to ensure quality of work is in compliance with approved shop drawing and Specification and get daily progress report from site supervisors and engineer. Ensure all manpower is sufficient such as Supervisor, Foreman and Duct fitter, etc., and attended safety orientation and having proper PPE’s prior start installation activities at site. Coordinate with other discipline and Ensure site clearance is available to start the activities. Ensure that Ducts, Fittings, accessories are available and approved by Quality Control Inspector prior to installation. Prepare relevant documents to conduct inspection for completed installation activities and raise RFA or RFI to project management/clients. Ensure safe activities are carried out in accordance with the Company’s safety policies and procedures. Ensure that appropriate safety and protective equipment is used by Company and contractor staff. Ensure proper hand tools, power tools, ladder and scaffoldings are available for installation. Rechecking the drawing as per site condition and inform client if any changes occur on site. Weekly coordination meetings with the Project management & QC Supervisor and manager to resolve the site related issues. Monthly report for progress accomplishment on on-going projects.
Assign to Supervised four (4) floors from 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th floor. Supervised the installation of VARIABLES REFRIGIRATION VOLUME. Every floor has a total of 100hp. After installations of field piping and all the equipment. Conduct Pneumatic Testing, Vacuum test, and Startup of Equipment. Commissioning prior to Turn Over.
The QC Inspector for Fire Protection is responsible for verifying that all life safety, fire suppression, and fire alarm systems installed during the plant's facility upgrades or expansion comply with local regulations and international standards. This includes overseeing the installation, testing, and documentation of fire sprinkler networks, clean agent suppression (for server/cleanrooms), fire pumps, and detection arrays in strict accordance with the National Fire Code of the Philippines (RA 9514) and NFPA Standards.. Conduct visual, dimensional, and certification reviews of all incoming fire protection materials to verify they are FM-Approved or UL-Listed. Inspect piping and components including black carbon steel pipes (ASTM A53), ductile iron fittings, grooved couplings, and specialized sprinkler heads. Verify material heat numbers, Mill Test Reports (MTRs), and vendor data sheets against the approved project specifications and bill of materials. Ensure correct storage and segregation of materials on-site to prevent damage or contamination prior to installation.

Utilize designs and Drawings to plan and lay-out installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, ensure applicable project specifications and industry standards are adequately satisfied. Responsible for the execution and documentation of quality control inspection activities for welding, piping, and static equipment fabrication and installation. Scope of oversight is focused heavily on the Boiler and the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), ensuring strict compliance with ASME Section I (Power Boilers), ASME B31.1 (Power Piping), ASME B31.3 (Process Piping), and ASME Section IX (Welding Qualifications). Conduct visual inspection, dimensional checks, and material verification for carbon steel and austenitic stainless-steel piping, fittings, and static components. Verify Material Test Reports (MTRs) and Mill Certificates against physical heat numbers to ensure 100% traceability for: SA-106 Grade B / A-106 Grade B (Carbon steel for high-temperature steam/boiler feed services), SA-312 Gr. TP304L / A-312 Gr. TP304L (Low-carbon austenitic stainless steel for WWTP chemical lines/corrosive services), SA-312 Gr. TP316L / A-312 Gr. TP316L (Molybdenum-bearing low-carbon stainless steel for aggressive wastewater and acidic process fluids). Manage positive material identification (PMI) and color-coding verification to prevent material mix-ups between carbon steel and stainless-steel grades. Review and verify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ) per ASME Section IX. Ensure correct selection and control of welding consumables (e.g., ER70S-6 and E7018 for carbon steel; ER308L/E308L for TP304L; ER316L/E316L for TP316L). Inspect weld joint fit-up, root gap, bevel angles, alignment, and cleanliness prior to welding. Monitor in-process welding parameters including amperage, voltage, travel speed, and Interpass temperatures (especially ensuring strict temperature limits on stainless steel to prevent carbide precipitation). Conduct final visual inspections of completed welds for profiles, undercut, porosity, and compliance with ASME B31.1 / B31.3 acceptance criteria. Coordinate, witness, and review Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) results including Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Dye Penetrant Testing (PT). Supervise and sign off on hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure test loops for boiler piping and WWTP networks. Verify test parameters, pressure gauges calibration, holding times, and zero-leakage compliance per engineering drawings and code requirements. Perform internal and external visual inspections of static equipment including wastewater storage tanks, chemical dosing skids, boiler drums, header installations, and heat exchangers. Inspect equipment alignment, levelness, nozzle orientations, and bolt-tightening sequences against vendor drawings. Monitor surface preparation and coating applications (paint/lining) for chemical resistance in the WWTP area. Compile, review, and maintain the Quality History Text Book (Turnover Package), including weld logs, NDT reports, MTRs, and punch lists. Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for deviations from specs, follow up on corrective actions, and verify final resolutions.
