I been working as a dispatcher for over 5 years when I started working as a dispatcher I started working with containerized loads to transport within United States or to export to other countries so must of the times I had to call the piers to find put if the containers were free of any pending payment or custom process but we also work with warehouses transporting their loads from their warehouse to their clients place and I had to file all the paperwork like the POD's and BOL's
