Fuel Dispensing. Refuel vehicles with petrol, diesel, or oil as requested by customers.. Check fuel levels and operate fuel pumps accurately.. Monitor the pump to avoid overfilling or fuel spills.. Customer Service. Greet customers politely and assist with their needs.. Answer customer queries and offer basic information about fuel types and services.. Handle customer complaints professionally and refer complex issues to the supervisor.. Payments and Receipts. Accept payments by cash, card, or vouchers.. Issue receipts and give correct change.. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately.. Vehicle Checks (Optional Services). Check oil, water, and tyre pressure upon customer request.. Clean windshields or vehicle mirrors.. Offer basic assistance in minor vehicle-related issues.. Safety and Cleanliness. Follow safety procedures, especially regarding flammable liquids.. Report fuel leaks or dangerous conditions to management immediately.. Keep the pump area clean and tidy at all times.. Ensure fire extinguishers and emergency tools are accessible.. Stock and Supplies. Refill windshield washer fluid, paper towels, and other pump-side supplies.. Assist in stock counts or restocking shelves if assigned.. Shift Work and Logs. Work shifts including weekends, holidays, and nights.. Record shift reports, fuel pump readings, and other required logs.
