Experience
Social Media Manager & Content Creator
Run social accounts end to end for athletes, sports clubs and brands in South Africa and abroad; clients deal with me directly.. Shoot and edit video myself in Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro and CapCut, cut for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.. Build content calendars around fixtures and tournaments so posts land when fans are paying attention.. Run paid campaigns on Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok, plus SEO and email for clients who need more than organic reach.. Report on views, engagement and follower growth, and change the plan when the numbers say to.. Handle my own budgeting, invoicing and client reporting.
Volunteer Venue Coordinator
Built the daily rosters, assigned tasks and was the first call when something went wrong on the floor.. Worked alongside venue management, media and sponsor teams so their activity ran on time.. Spotted problems before they reached athletes or spectators and fixed them on the spot.
Sports Graphics Operator & Stats Logger
Operated live on-screen graphics and logged match statistics for SuperSport rugby broadcasts.. Worked on the United Rugby Championship, Currie Cup, Craven Week, Junior Springbok fixtures, Blitz and studio build-up shows.. Kept sponsor graphics accurate and on cue; live television has no second take.. Took direction from producers and directors in real time and fed statistics to commentators.
Event Volunteer Head
Recruited, onboarded and ran the volunteer team across athlete services, logistics, accreditation and competition support.. Set the schedules and was the link between volunteers, organisers and event staff.. Dealt with problems as they came up during competition, for athletes, officials and spectators.
Volunteer & Venue Operations Coordinator
Recruited, trained and deployed volunteers for university sporting events.. Produced match-day social content and helped with on-site branding and promotion.. Checked that sponsor branding was placed and visible during activations.. Captured live content during fixtures for digital platforms.
Venue Operations Centre (VOC) & Volunteer Manager
Ran the Venue Operations Centre on match days.. Recruited, scheduled and supervised the volunteers.. Worked on venue readiness, crowd management and post-match reviews.
Competition Operations & Team Liaison
Looked after the visiting teams at an international women’s football tournament: logistics, accreditation, scheduling and kit.. Was the teams’ point of contact for player comfort and welfare throughout the event.
English Teacher & Sports Facilitator
Taught English and ran physical education and sports activities.. Planned school sports programmes, sporting events and inter-school fixtures.
Senior English Teacher
Taught English, mentored a team of teachers and trained new staff.. Coordinated class schedules, daily operations and school events.
