Give clearance to Commercial and fishing Vessels, conduct ship search for new commercial and fishing vessels on PNG waters, deport ship crews or ship captain if found out any contraband items in their possession once discovered. Authorized commercial vessels inward manifest, do manifest audits and write off hanging bills if paid using Cargo Clearance system ASYCUDA. Conduct Auction for uncleared imported cargos and submitted report to the chief commissioner. Conduct physical depot checks to ensure they meet customs required guidelines of keeping imported goods, do depot reconciliation of imported Cargo as per their sub-manifest submitted as per the cargo clearance system ASYCUDA. Do daily counter checks and endorsement for cleared imported goods for home consumption. Submit monthly report to Wharf Cargo Manager
