Collaborate with a team to construct, assemble, and repair fiberglass boats using GRP and composite materials.. Conduct inspections during fabrication to ensure quality, identify defects, and implement corrective actions to reduce rework and material waste.. Perform hand lay-up and vacuum infusion (VIP) process to manufacture high-quality fiberglass products.. Prepare resin mixtures and catalysts in accordance with technical specifications.. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.. Assisted in installation of propulsion, steering, fuel lines, and wire routing as well as onboard structural fittings.. Handle chemicals and cutting tools safely, following all safety protocols.. Monitor material usage, productivity, and workshop safety compliance, ensuring proper use of PPE and adherence to chemical handling procedures. Report project progress, technical challenges, and material requirements to senior management.. Maintain detailed production and material records to support traceability and inventory control.
