Perform a variety of clinical Laboratory tests in the following areas: Hematology, Blood Banking, Biochemistry, Urinalysis and Body fluids, Immunology, Microbiology and Molecular testing.. Collection, reception, separation and processing of Patient’s specimens.. Interpretation, recording and dispatching of generated results.. Maintain records of test results and archives of data.. Running calibration, quality control and routine maintenance procedures on machines and equipment.. Ensure Quality Assurance in the laboratory by carrying out all the QA activities according to the QA plan.. Ensure Proper biohazard waste segregation and disposal.. Cleaning and decontamination of working surfaces to keep the work environment safe.. Laboratory Reagent preparation.. Participate in EQA/IQC for areas of specialty and laboratory indicators.. Follow all Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures as outlined in the ACL Laboratory Quality Assurance Manual.. Evaluate inventory of supplies and reagents and communicate order needs. Training new staff and interns.. Perform additional Responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
