The curriculum aligns with Dominican Ministry of Education (MINERD) requirements and American standards, preparing students to succeed in a competitive global society.Role Description The Lead Preschool Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Santo Domingo, responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. This role includes planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons that integrate language learning, early mathematics, and faith-based values in a bilingual setting. The Lead Preschool Teacher will assess student progress, differentiate instruction, and collaborate with assistant teachers to support each child’s academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth. Daily responsibilities include classroom management, parent communication, documentation of student learning, and participation in school events and professional development. The teacher will work closely with school leadership to align classroom practices with the school’s curriculum, mission, and policies.Qualifications Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education and teaching practices, with experience supporting holistic development in young children.Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, including the ability to design engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with school standards and values.Excellent Communication skills for interacting effectively with children, families, and colleagues in a collaborative school environment.Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field; advanced training or certifications in early childhood are a plus.Experience teaching in a bilingual, international, or faith-based school setting is highly desirable; ability to teach in both English and Spanish is preferred.Demonstrated classroom management skills, patience, and empathy.Willingness to support the school’s Catholic identity and mission while respecting a diverse community of students and families.Strong organizational skills, reliability, and readiness to participate in school events, meetings, and ongoing professional development on-site. We are seeking a motivated and passionate Secondary School Natural Sciences Teacher to join our school in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping students' academic experiences and guiding their intellectual growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards. Utilize creativity in teaching methodologies to enhance student understanding and interest in natural sciences. Effectively manage the classroom environment to ensure a safe and collaborative learning atmosphere. Motivate and guide students to achieve their academic potential through supportive and constructive feedback. Organize and oversee laboratory experiments to provide hands-on learning experiences. Assess and evaluate student performance to track progress and provide additional support when necessary. Communicate regularly with parents and staff to discuss student achievements and areas for improvement. Required and preferred qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field.
