Pathfinder Brands
Bogotá, Colombia
Negociable
Location: Remote (EST hours) | Commitment: Part-time with quick path to full-time About PathfinderPathfinder is a brand platform on a mission to acquire, scale, and revitalize exceptional consumer brands in the U.S. Backed by committed capital and led by founders with experience spanning Stanford GSB, Harvard Law, Y Combinator, and Forbes 30U30, we acquire high-potential DTC brands and unlock growth through hands-on operational excellence. Our mission: build a $100M+ portfolio of beloved, performance-driven consumer brands. To get there, we're assembling a team of driven, hungry operators who want to grow fast and take on real ownership. About the RoleWe're hiring a part-time Community & Content Coordinator to build and nurture real community around multiple Pathfinder portfolio brands. This isn't a "post and forget" role — you'll be the person our most engaged customers actually talk to. You'll run Discord servers, moderate and grow Facebook groups, manage close-knit "insider" or "VIP" circles, and create content for Instagram and TikTok that feeds those communities rather than just broadcasting at them. You'll work closely with and report directly to our Affiliate Marketing & Social Media Manager. You're someone who's plugged into internet culture, understands what makes people stick around in a community (not just double-tap a post), and can move quickly without sacrificing quality or brand voice. What You'll DoCommunity Building & ManagementOwn day-to-day management of brand Discord servers and/or Facebook Groups — onboarding new members, seeding conversations, and keeping the space activeDesign and run recurring community rituals (AMAs, challenges, polls, early-access drops, member shoutouts) that give people a reason to come backIdentify and nurture "super users" and close-friends-style inner circles who can become organic advocates and affiliatesModerate conversations in real time, enforcing community guidelines while keeping the tone warm and on-brandSurface community sentiment, recurring questions, and product feedback to the marketing and product teamsContent CreationDesign and execute posts using Canva, maintaining on-brand visual standardsFilm short-form content (UGC-style, behind-the-scenes, product features) on your own deviceEdit videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok, including captions, transitions, and soundCreate content specifically designed to spark conversation and participation, not just views — think prompts, polls, and community call-outsCollaborate with the Affiliate Marketing & Social Media Manager on creative direction and content calendarsCross-Platform EngagementReply to comments and DMs across Instagram, TikTok, Discord, and Facebook in a timely, on-brand voiceRepost relevant user-generated content and community member content to Stories and group feedsActively engage with followers, brand partners, and community members as a genuine presence — not a faceless brand accountReporting & CoordinationTrack and report community health metrics (active members, engagement rate, sentiment, growth) alongside standard reach/engagement/views metricsStay current on community platform trends, features, and best practices (Discord, Facebook Groups, Geneva, Circle, etc.)Maintain a content and community engagement schedule, ensuring consistent presence across all channels Who You AreYou're a self-starter who genuinely enjoys building community online — you might already run or actively participate in a Discord server, Facebook Group, or close-knit online fandom. You understand the difference between an audience and a community, and you know that community is built in the comments, the DMs, and the small consistent moments, not just the big posts. You're creative but also reliable — you're on time, respond quickly, and take pride in the details. You don't need a manager to tell you what's trending or how to talk to people online. You have a genuine interest in consumer brands and the DTC space. Maybe you've built your own community before, worked with a brand, or just have a natural gift for making people feel like they belong somewhere.Critically, you know how to adapt your voice. Each Pathfinder brand has its own personality, tone, and community culture — and you can shift seamlessly between them. Moderating a premium men's grooming Discord feels different from running a wellness brand's Facebook Group, and you get that distinction instinctively. What We're Looking For1–2 years of hands-on social media or community management experience (brand-side, agency, or as a creator/community builder)Direct experience running or actively moderating a Discord server, Facebook Group, or similar online communityProficiency in Canva for graphics, carousels, and Story templatesComfortable filming content on your own device with solid framing and lighting instinctsVideo editing skills — CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or equivalent; Reels and TikTok native editing is a plusAbility to adapt tone and language across multiple brands and platforms — each with a distinct voice, audience, and community cultureStrong written voice with an ear for brand tone; able to switch registers from aspirational to casual to bold without losing authenticityHighly organized, reliable, and able to manage a posting and engagement schedule independentlyAvailable during EST business hours for coordination and quick-turn requestsBackground in or genuine enthusiasm for consumer brands and DTC — bonus if you've built or grown an online community before Why Join PathfinderReal ownership. You'll build actual relationships with our most loyal customers, not just fill a content calendar.Room to grow. We promote from within. Excel here and there's a full-time path on the growth team.Exposure across brands. You'll work across multiple Pathfinder portfolio brands and see how different communities and audiences require different approaches.Grow with a platform that's just getting started. Pathfinder is early and moving fast. The people who join now will have opportunities that won't exist once we're bigger.
