Material Handler II Job Description Reports To: Supervisor or Manager Level Summary: Perform manual and clerical duties related to receiving, inspection, storing, kitting and delivery of a variety of materials and supplies. Manage and perform daily shipping and delivery duties. Essential Duties And Responsibilities: • Prepare kitting for manufacturing. • Prepare kitting for distribution. • Perform inventory audits as required. • Perform customer deliveries and supplier pick up’s. • Coordinates the handling of materials received or shipped by Silpac. • Serves as liaison with other departments or units in the resolution of day-to-day shipping and receiving issues. E.g. report shipping receipt discrepancies. • Compiles records of items purchased and delivered. • Follows established policies and procedures and objectives. • Take ownership over procedures related to packaging, shipping, and kitting. • Operate a forklift as required. • Invoice as necessary. Education and Experience: • High school diploma or GED. • Minimum of 2 – 5 years of related work experience. • Valid driver’s license and good driving record. • Business Works software and navigate through shipping web site is a plus. • Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations is a plus. • Certified for Hazardous materials shipping/handling
