Company operating name: Newstead Academy Child Care Business address: 13085 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, Ontario, L4E 3S8 Title of the position: Administrative Coordinator No. of vacancies available: 1 Terms of employment: Permanent position Hours of work per week: 40 hours/week (full-time) Wage: $27/hour Language of work: English Location of work: Same as business address Job Duties: • Direct inquiries, questions, and concerns to the appropriate supervisor or director. • Greet visitors, answer phones, build rapport with clients; • Support the management team by maintaining physical and electronic records for students, report cards, classroom scheduling, and school applications; • Assist in the creation and implementation of policies and procedures; • Plan and coordination of centre activities and events; • Manage communications through media relations, social media, etc.; • Conduct school tours to showcase the school's facilities and programs; • Facilitate the enrolment and registration process for new students; • Provide guidance to applicants on the admission criteria and requirements; • Take charge of ordering office and centre materials to ensure a well-equipped and organized environment; • Collaborate with other office members to distribute workload effectively and meet deadlines; • Prepare, present, and document reports, results, surveys, and inquiries; • Work alongside other office members to ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation; • Engage in collaboration and maintain ongoing communication with university/college research labs regarding studies related to children. Skills requirements: • Education: Bachelor's degree; • Experience: 1 year to less 2 years; • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential; • Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks; • Professional and pleasant demeanour; • Strong computer skills required; ability to use both Mac and Windows applications an asset • Demonstrate proficiency in team management systems such as Asana, Monday, or similar platform • Familiarity with child care management systems, including but not limited to Sandbox and Lillio; • Familiarity with child care environment is an asset. Newstead Academy Child Care (NACC) is a newly established centre in the beautiful community of Oak Ridges, with has a capacity of 165 students and 8 classrooms.
