This Automotive Technician position is based out of Flat Rock, MI. Automotive Technicians will modify cars and trucks in a prototype environment, performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. Candidates must be able to work up to 6 days/week plus Overtime as needed. AM Day shift available. Candidates meeting the requirements below are strongly encouraged to apply. Pay: $21.00/hour Shift Times: 5:00 am - 4:00 pm (Monday - Friday) + OT as needed 5:00 am - 1:00 pm (Saturday) + OT as needed Must be able to work 6-7 days a week Responsibilities: Maintain vehicle functional condition by working off repair orders or leader instructions and conducting inspections Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts and components Read, interpret, and follow service procedures Maintain vehicle records by entering notes, service, and repair orders Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs Participate in daily shop organization and clean-up Retirees and veterans are welcome Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Mechanical ability and ability to operate shop equipment Good attention to detail and organizational skills Able to work independently and as part of a team Must have own tools Ability to read, comprehend and execute written procedures Preferred Skills: Certificate in Automotive Technology or related State/ASE Certifications Valid driver's license Knowledge of vehicle alignments, air conditioning (A/C) system repairs, tire machines and balancers Performance Driven Workforce is an Equal Opportunity Employer Easy Application Process!
