Responsibilities: - Schedule and conduct field or office-based loss control underwriting inspection reports. - Retrieve assigned work and track status using the company website portal. - Utilize personal equipment such as a car, laptop, digital camera, and cell phone to conduct inspections. - Communicate effectively with policyholders, agents, and appointed contacts to conduct and complete assigned inspections. - Identify property and liability-related hazards and exposures during Loss Control Surveys. - Write comprehensive reports, identifying potential loss conditions, hazards, or concerns, and make recommendations to mitigate the identified exposures. - Build positive working relationships with all points of contact while conducting inspections. Minimum Qualifications: - Two to four years of experience conducting inspections or related experience. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent customer service and communication skills. - Outgoing personality with the ability to interact with a wide variety of people. - Ability to write comprehensive loss control reports. - Flexibility to work flexible hours and days. - Ability to work independently with little or no supervision. - Proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and inspection-related software.
