**Responsibilities:** - Drive targeted prospecting activities for accounts in key industry verticals. - Build a diverse sales pipeline with direct customers, identifying qualified opportunities. - Manage pipeline activities, driving deals through presentations, demos, and negotiations. - Sell to State, Local, and Education clients, understanding their needs and budgets. - Develop quotes, proposals, contracts, and price negotiations. - Provide regular sales updates to executive management. - Develop business relationships with strategic Value-Added Resellers (VARs). - Analyze target prospects and gather competitive intelligence. **Candidate Profile:** - Proven experience in cybersecurity and IT software sales. - Experience in State, Local, and Education space preferred. - Strong understanding of technical security solutions. - Familiarity with Salesforce, Gmail, MS Office, and Web Conferencing. - Attention to detail, strong follow-up skills, and ability to qualify opportunities. - Blend of relationship building with Channel VARs and direct sales. - Adaptability to changing market conditions and effective communication skills. **Leadership & Management Competencies:** - Establish sales strategy, objectives, and action plans. - Resourcefully execute goals and action plans. - Build relationships, collaborate, and partner with clients. - Organized and creative with a focus on venture growth. - Adapt sales tactics to various market conditions. **Personal Characteristics:** - Strategic thinker with high energy and directed work. - Collaborative, transparent communication. - Optimistic, engaging personality with exceptional analytical skills. - Patient, persevering, and committed to high ethics.
