Assistant Operations Manager / Office Manager Responsibilities: - Manage interpreting and translation requests, including assigning contracted interpreter staff, overseeing billing functions and reconciliation, and handling payroll. - Develop, review, and implement operational policies and procedures. - Recruit language talent and oversee the recruitment process. - Handle budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing tasks. - Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and agreements with contracted entities. - Establish partnerships and alliances with other organizations to expand contractual opportunities. - Facilitate communication between leadership, owner/President, office support, contracted interpreters, and agencies. - Develop and implement an interpreter training program. Assistant Operations Manager / Office Manager Requirements: - Associate Degree or above in a related field. - Proficiency in Microsoft Programs. - Previous experience in management, operations, and leadership roles. - Understanding of general finance, budgeting, invoicing, and cash-flow management. - Strong interpersonal skills to build consensus and relationships among staff, contracted interpreters, and partners. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Experience in managing and developing a diverse workforce. - Knowledge of contracting processes.
