Minimum Requirements for Administrative Analysts positions: - Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, or a related field, from an accredited college or university - Two or more years of professional experience as an Assistant Administrative Analyst or equivalent position - Alternatively, a master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience - Relevant experience can substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proficiency in using personal computers, including Internet, spreadsheet, database, and word processing software - Ability to comprehend and interpret complex written information - Strong research, organization, and data analysis skills - Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on evaluation of facts - Initiative to complete assigned tasks independently - Proficiency in mathematical computations - Effective planning and organizational skills
