Position Description: The Mechanical Electrical Field Service Technician plays a vital role in delivering onsite value to our customers by providing top-notch customer service and upholding our Company's safety, accuracy, and productivity standards. As a key member of the Operations Maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our proprietary automated agricultural packaging equipment. We are seeking an ideal candidate who is experienced in maintaining mechanical/electrical systems, self-motivated, maintains a professional attitude, and excels in both team and individual settings. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Ensure mechanical/electrical equipment is maintained in optimal working condition. - Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment-related issues. - Manage On-Site Spare Parts and Material Inventories, ensuring accurate logging, reconciliation, and timely reporting of inventory transactions. - Prepare daily, monthly, and seasonal equipment maintenance reports, and track performance metrics. - Establish and adjust work schedules to meet customer demands and enhance workflow efficiency. - Uphold high standards of customer service. - Enforce Company safety regulations. - Maintain effective communication with customers, team members, and the business office. Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years' experience in Mechanical and/or Electrical machinery maintenance. - Preferred knowledge of Electro-Mechanical and/or Automated machinery (e.g., conveyors, photo-eyes, PLCs). - Ability to read programmable controller logic and other software programs. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel. - Willingness to travel between company systems. - Capability to work independently. - Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines. - Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. - Mature-minded approach to business. - Flexibility with work hours as required by production and on-call demands. - Valid California Driver's License and automobile insurance.
