**Key Job Responsibilities:** - Formulates sales strategies tailored to meet the company's specific objectives and revenue targets. - Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team comprising clinicians and administrative support personnel. - Focuses on engaging physician prescribers, discharge planners, and key decision-makers to educate them on the value of the company's patient-specific services. - Establishes and nurtures relationships with all relevant sales targets who directly refer patients for specialty infusion medications. - Identifies specialty medications, parenteral nutrition, anti-infective therapies, and associated disease states and conditions in patient treatment. - Demonstrates familiarity with the assigned geographical service area and territory. - Participates in community outreach activities such as health fairs, exhibits, and educational programs as necessary. - Plans field visits and customer education sessions strategically to minimize travel costs and enhance productivity. - Regularly evaluates sales objectives and adjusts marketing plans to achieve goals within the planned timeframe. - Collaborates with prescribers, health systems, and other partners to facilitate prescriptions and referrals. - Identifies educational opportunities and delivers presentations to referral sources. - Works with internal teams and customers to identify and develop patient care solutions. - Performs additional duties as assigned. **Minimum Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience (5+ years) will be considered in lieu of a degree. - Minimum of five (5+) years of experience directly related to specialty pharmacy sales or pharmaceuticals is required. Knowledge of specialty billing/reimbursement practices, pre-authorization processes, and insurance coverage criteria for specialty medications is preferred. - Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, along with a willingness to travel to cover the assigned territory. - Possession of a valid driver's license with a driving record and auto insurance that meets company standards.
