Responsibilities - Collaborate with product management and design to understand requirements to architect technical implementation of our product - Collaborate with a productive, close-knit cross-functional team touching many areas of VECKTA’s product including finance, legal, sales, and modeling to build an efficient large-scale product - Hands-on and actively engaged in various tasks and responsibilities as needed by Engineering inclusive of coding, code reviews, and testing within an Agile framework of two-week sprints - Full-stack web/mobile application design and development - Implement web or mobile interfaces using React, TypeScript, NextJS, and Vercel inclusive of modern web engineering frameworks and libraries - Design and implement database support and schemas - Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale while maintaining high standards for code quality, security, and application design - Architect and maintain scalable production quality software - Implement monitoring and alerting solutions and respond to events - Mentor engineers and Quality Assurance team - Work closely with operations and infrastructure to build and scale back-end services; Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience OR Master's Degree and 6 years of relevant professional experience OR high school diploma/equivalent and a minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience - Minimum of 7 years related technical experience, with software design, development, and implementation using various technologies as noted below. - Qualified candidates must demonstrate knowledge, experience, skill, or proficiency with the following: *Javascript, TypeScript, NodeJS, Sequelize, NextJS, React, Express, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Jest, Cypress, Playwright *Deploying with cloud technologies including Docker, AWS S3/RDS, and Vercel *Provisioning GitLab CI/CD pipeline for automated or scheduled stages: build, unit and integration testing, design review, and deployment *Prototyping a product feature *Reviewing Figma designs
