We are seeking a talented Jira Migration Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in San Jose, CA. This role plays a crucial part in our operations by ensuring a seamless migration process for our Jira systems, impacting our project management efficiency and overall team productivity.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Jira and Confluence migrations using JCMA and CCMA.Plan and execute pre-migration audits, cleanup, and validation.Perform post-migration tasks: workflows, custom fields, permissions.Automate migration tasks and Jira configurations using Groovy/Python.Support Jira Cloud configuration, user setup, dashboards, reports.Work with plugins like SSO, Assets (Insight), Behaviours, etc.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document best practices.Required and Preferred Qualifications4–5 years of Jira DC-to-Cloud migration experience.JCMA & CCMA usage for large-scale migration.Jira Cloud Admin experience (2024 or earlier).ScriptRunner and Groovy scripting expertise.Python scripting for Jira API automation.Strong SQL skills (MS SQL Server preferred).Jira automation rules and plugin configuration.Preferred (Nice to Have)Experience with Forge platform/app development.Atlassian certifications (ACP-100, ACP-620).Experience with Jira Service Management and Bitbucket integration.Incase you are interested please send your resume to
