Job description:Celnet is seeking experienced Ericsson BBU Swap Field Technicians to support Ericsson network modernization, BBU swap, and integration projects across multiple markets.We are looking for skilled telecom professionals with hands-on experience in Ericsson equipment, BBU swaps, site integration, Zero Touch Integration (ZTI), SIF loading, fiber work, troubleshooting, and wireless site maintenance who are ready to contribute to large-scale wireless network deployments and support successful project delivery.Position: Ericsson Certified Senior Field Technician / IntegratorJob Type: Full-time / ContractWork Location: On the roadLocations: Philadelphia, PA / Washington, DC / Eastern PA / NYC and NJKey Responsibilities:Perform Ericsson BBU swaps, equipment installation, replacement, integration, and testing.Work with Ericsson equipment including BBU 6630, 6648, 6672, and similar platforms.Perform Zero Touch Integration (ZTI) and manual SIF loading.Complete site integration, validation, troubleshooting, and alarm resolution.Perform fiber installation, rerouting, SFP verification, transmission testing, and synchronization troubleshooting.Conduct pre- and post-installation checks, E911/emergency testing, and site acceptance activities.Coordinate with remote NOC, RF, Integration, and customer support teams to resolve site issues.Work primarily during night maintenance windows, typically supporting two sites per night depending on project volume and scheduling.Travel between sites as required throughout the shift.Maintain accurate records of equipment installed, removed, picked up from warehouses, and returned.Scan and document serial numbers, asset information, and site completion records.Properly package and return removed equipment to the designated warehouse.Support warehouse activities as required, typically Friday mornings following Thursday night activities.Log in and out of required customer and project portals, including Ericsson United, ESI App, T-Mobile portals, and other project systems.Maintain accurate activity and project records throughout each shift.Ensure all equipment and cabling are professionally installed, dressed, secured, and clearly labeled.Maintain excellent site housekeeping and leave each site clean, organized, and in better condition than it was found.Follow all approved MOPs, safety procedures, customer standards, and quality requirements.Required Experience & Skills:3+ years of Ericsson integration experience – Required.Hands-on experience with Ericsson wireless equipment and BBU swap projects.Experience with Ericsson BBU 6630, 6648, 6672, or similar equipment.Experience with Ericsson site integration and commissioning.Experience with Zero Touch Integration (ZTI) and/or manual SIF loading.Strong understanding of fiber, SFPs, transmission, and synchronization.Experience troubleshooting alarms and integration issues at wireless cell sites.Ability to work independently and effectively during overnight maintenance windows.Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.Ability to use customer/project portals and maintain accurate site documentation.Ability to travel between multiple sites during a shift.Must have personal hand tools required for the work.Certifications:OSHA 10 – RequiredCPR / First Aid – RequiredBloodborne Pathogen (BBP) – RequiredRF Awareness – RequiredElectrical SafetyAdditional Requirements:Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.Ability to work overnight shifts and flexible schedules.Willingness to travel within the assigned market.Ability to lift equipment and materials as required.Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer standards.Interested candidates should submit their updated resume and contact information through CazVid.
