RN – Pre-Op (Peds)Location: Boston, MAStarting Rate: $50/hrSpecialty: Pediatric Pre-Operative CarePosition Summary:Prepare pediatric patients and families for surgical procedures while providing safe, competent, and compassionate nursing care before surgery.Key Responsibilities:• Conduct pre-operative assessments and ongoing patient observation• Verify consents, NPO status, procedure details, and required documentation• Initiate IV access and administer medications as ordered• Provide age-appropriate education and support to patients and families• Complete surgical safety checklists and ensure patient readiness for the OR• Communicate and coordinate with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams• Administer and document medications and treatments according to facility policy• Recognize changes in patient condition and communicate appropriately• Maintain accurate patient documentation and care plans• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team• Promote a safe, positive, and patient-centered environmentRequirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program• Active, unencumbered RN license• Minimum 1 year and up of RN work experience• Current CPR/BLS certification• Pediatric or pre-operative nursing experience preferred• Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and communication skills• Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, support, and lift as required for patient care• Must meet facility requirements for background screening, health screening, and onboarding documentation• Additional vaccination or testing requirements may apply based on facility policyPer Diem / Bundle opportunities available.Para aplicar, por favor envía tu solicitud a través del CazVid.
