RN – PACU (Peds)Location: Boston, MA | West Dayton, OHStarting Rate: $50/hrSpecialty: Pediatric PACUPosition Summary:Provide safe, competent, and compassionate post-anesthesia nursing care to pediatric patients recovering from surgical procedures.Key Responsibilities:• Monitor airway, vital signs, level of consciousness, and pain during recovery• Assess patient condition and recognize changes requiring immediate attention• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols• Manage post-operative pain, nausea, and other recovery needs• Assess readiness for discharge or transfer according to facility criteria• Communicate effectively with families and the receiving care team• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals• Promote a calm, safe, and patient-centered environmentRequirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program• Active, unencumbered RN license• Minimum 1 year and up of RN work experience• Current BLS certification• PALS certification required or strongly preferred• Pediatric PACU, perioperative, or critical care experience preferred• Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and communication skills• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment• Must meet facility requirements for background screening, health screening, and onboarding documentation• Additional vaccination or testing requirements may apply based on facility policyPer Diem / Bundle opportunities available.Para aplicar, por favor envía tu solicitud a través del CazVid.
