RN – PACU (Peds)Location: Boston, MA | West Dayton, OHStarting Rate: $50/hrSpecialty: Pediatric PACUPosition Summary:Provide safe, competent, and compassionate post-anesthesia nursing care to pediatric patients recovering from surgical procedures.Key Responsibilities:* Monitor airway, vital signs, level of consciousness, and pain during recovery* Assess patient condition and recognize changes requiring immediate attention* Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols* Manage post-operative pain, nausea, and other recovery needs* Assess readiness for discharge or transfer according to facility criteria* Communicate effectively with families and the receiving care team* Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation* Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals* Promote a calm, safe, and patient-centered environmentRequirements:* Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program* Active, unencumbered RN license* Minimum 1 year and up of RN work experience* Current BLS certification* PALS certification required or strongly preferred* Pediatric PACU, perioperative, or critical care experience preferred* Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and communication skills* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment* Must meet facility requirements for background screening, health screening, and onboarding documentation* Additional vaccination or testing requirements may apply based on facility policyPer Diem / Bundle opportunities available.To Apply:Para aplicar, por favor envía tu solicitud a través de CazVid.
