RN – Pre-Op (Peds)Location: Boston, MAStarting Rate: $50/hrSpecialty: Pediatric Pre-Operative CarePosition Summary:Provide safe, competent, and compassionate nursing care while preparing pediatric patients and families for surgical procedures.Key Responsibilities:* Conduct pre-operative assessments and ongoing patient observation* Verify consents, NPO status, procedure details, and required documentation* Initiate IV access and administer medications as ordered* Provide age-appropriate education and support to patients and families* Complete surgical safety checklists and ensure patient readiness for the OR* Coordinate with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams* Administer and document medications and treatments according to facility policy* Recognize changes in patient condition and communicate appropriately* Maintain accurate patient documentation and care plans* Promote a safe, positive, and patient-centered environmentRequirements:* Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program* Active, unencumbered RN license* Minimum 1 year and up of RN work experience* Current BLS/CPR certification* Pediatric or pre-operative nursing experience preferred* Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and communication skills* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment* Must meet facility requirements for background screening, health screening, and onboarding documentation* Additional vaccination or testing requirements may apply based on facility policyPer Diem / Bundle opportunities available.To Apply:To apply, please submit your application in CazVid.
