We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Assistant to join our team in Santo Domingo, Nacional, Dominican Republic. This full-time position offers a monthly compensation of RD$ 20,000. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their overall development and well-being.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the daily care and supervision of children in a childcare setting.Support the implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, and emotional development.Maintain a clean and safe environment for children to play and learn.Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance to promote positive social interactions.Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive and engaging atmosphere.Participate in training and professional development sessions to enhance childcare practices.Required and preferred qualificationsEducation: High School Diploma is required.Skills: Proven experience in childcare.Certifications: Any relevant certifications in childcare would be advantageous.Software/Tools: Familiarity with basic record-keeping software is a plus.Experience: Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.The Childcare Assistant will be an integral part of the childcare team, working closely with fellow assistants and other childcare professionals.
