Job Title: Territory Sales Manager (6420)Company: Central States Manufacturing, Inc.Employment Type: Direct Placement (Full-Time)Annual Salary: $60,000–$75,000Primary Location: Mount Airy, NC 27030Work Arrangement: On-siteTentative Start Date: October 3, 2026 Other Acceptable Locations:Mount Airy, NCJasper, ALScottsville, KYGraniteville, SCPosition SummaryThe Territory Sales Manager (Inside Sales) manages all aspects of an assigned territory to maintain customer relationships, drive sales growth, and achieve volume and revenue goals. This position serves as the primary customer contact for orders, pricing, credits, and service-related communication while supporting account retention and growth.Core ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute territory sales plans to achieve volume, revenue, gross margin, and RMA goals.Serve as the primary customer contact for quotes, orders, credits, invoices, deliveries, and project updates.Review customer cut lists and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate order processing.Manage pricing, freight charges, and delivery requirements within established guidelines.Partner with Business Development Managers and Regional Sales Executives to support customer accounts.Assist with collection efforts and resolution of past-due balances.Participate in customer visits to strengthen relationships and support business growth.Maintain accurate customer, pricing, and order information in CRM and ERP systems.Identify and recover at-risk accounts.Promote company brand awareness through industry engagement and social media.Perform other duties as assigned.Key Measures of SuccessAchieve territory goals for volume, revenue, gross margin, and RMA performance.Process orders, quotes, credits, and customer communications accurately and promptly.Provide responsive, solution-focused customer service.Support customer retention and account growth.Maintain competitive pricing while supporting profitability.Successfully re-engage inactive or at-risk accounts.Collaborate effectively with internal teams.Maintain accurate CRM and ERP records.Demonstrate ownership, professionalism, and effective problem-solving.Education & ExperienceRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent and relevant work experience.Previous account management and/or inside sales experience.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.PreferredBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Experience in the metal building or manufacturing industry.Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentWork is primarily performed in an office environment using standard office equipment.
