The Functional UAT Lead will play a critical role in overseeing the User Acceptance Testing process within the organization. Located in Mineola, New York, this full-time position offers a compensation structure of $120,000 per year. The UAT Manager will be pivotal in ensuring that financial systems meet user requirements and function as intended before going live.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate user acceptance testing for ERP financial systems.Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.Facilitate testing sessions with end-users; gather feedback and validate results.Utilize defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira) to document and manage issues identified during testing.Collaborate with project teams to define user scenario and acceptance criteria.Provide regular updates and reports on testing status, results, and any outstanding defects.Train and mentor team members on UAT processes and best practices.Required and preferred qualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.Proficient in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) practices.Experience with ERP financial systems.Familiarity with defect tracking tools, such as Jira.Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in UAT or quality assurance.The Functional UAT Lead will work within a structured team environment, reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance and collaborating with various departments to ensure successful project outcomes.
