We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HR Assistant to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey. The HR Assistant will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of a positive workplace culture, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the HR team.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with recruitment processes, including screening resumes and coordinating interviews.Maintain employee records and manage HR documentation to ensure compliance with relevant policies.Support onboarding procedures for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and facilitating training sessions.Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.Organize and maintain HR filing systems for easy access and retrieval of information.Help in the coordination of employee engagement initiatives and HR events.Assist in the drafting and distribution of internal communications related to HR matters.Required and Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in common HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.Familiarity with HR best practices and employment laws.Prior experience in an administrative role preferred but not required.The HR Assistant will be part of a dedicated HR team and will report directly to the HR Manager.
