In a fast-paced, collaborative work environment, the Cargo Logistics Coordinator will play an essential role in supporting our business objectives while ensuring the timely and accurate movement of goods. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the planning and execution of cargo shipments in accordance with schedules and regulations. Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and identify any potential delays. Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve any logistical issues. Prepare and maintain documentation related to shipping, customs, and inventory management. Assist in optimizing logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Participate in regular meetings to report on logistics performance and suggest improvements. Support the training of new team members in logistics processes and procedures. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma is required; further education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus. Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is advantageous. Strong understanding of logistics operations and principles. Proficiency with logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Certifications such as APICS or CLTD would be beneficial. The successful candidate will be part of a close-knit logistics team, working closely with suppliers, shipping companies, and customer service departments to ensure smooth operations and frequent cross-functional collaboration.
