Pay: From $50.00 per hourJob description:MUST BE LOCATED IN BALTIMORE, MD AND HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH INNER-CITY URBAN YOUTH. A videography instructor needed to teach students ranging from K-8th grade during the 2026-2027 school year. This position is for in-person instruction. Pay ranges from $50.00-$60.00. Classes are 1 hour per session. Also, may have multiple contracts at multiple sites. Looking forward to interviewing candidates ASAP. Looking forward to interviewing candidates in the next few weeks.Days: Monday-ThursdayTimes: Varies between 2:00 pm - 5:00 pmThe Videography Instructor is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising classes and activities for youth. The Videography Instructor ensures youth development principles are incorporated into the curriculum and assignments; guides students; enforces discipline and order, resulting in a safe and positive environment for youth; teaches techniques and maintains and cares for supplies and equipment.We are looking for people that:Have a heart for children!Are looking for and fun contractual opportunity.Have teaching experience and excellent classroom management skills.Is performance-oriented?With HIGH ENERGY and flexibilityHave morning/afternoons summer availability.Have reliable transportation.Responsibilities:Teachers will work on small projects i.e. film making, music videos, and PSA's.-You may also be required to provide your own video production equipment: 1-2 medium size cameras or HD video phones, studio lights, and a microphone.-Supplemental equipment will be provided for teachers without equipment.-Editing work is the responsibility of the teacher.Ability to promote a feeling of security and trust in children by being warm, supportive, and comforting.Are enthusiastic and passionate about working with young children.Ability to commute to contracted locations.Curriculum development and lesson planning.Able to effectively collaborate with other performing arts teaching staff (when necessary)Ability to work well in an inner-city environment.Applicants will undergo a thorough background check and fingerprint.Mediate any conflicts that may arise between students.Enforce the rules and safety regulations with equipment.Report any notable concerns or incidents to the Program ManagerSkills:Dependability and punctuality a mustInstructional and classroom management skillsHigh level of personal organizational and planning skillsStrong work ethicSense of humorAbility to relate well with children.Ability to make learning process fun.Convey information in an exciting way.Experience:Educational experience is a plus with a focus on Photo or Video production or media communication.Experience with elementary/middle school aged childrenAdvanced Knowledge of Photo and Video Equipment is required.Job Types: Part-time, ContractApplication Question(s): Do you reside locally to Baltimore?
