Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Government Center/Viera. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Performs skilled technical work assisting members of the general public through the public works process, including Right-of-Way/Easement permitting and the development review process. REQUIREMENTS: Two (2) years [60 semester or 90 quarter hours] of college level coursework in Public Administration, Business Administration, Construction, or a closely related field PLUS three (3) years of experience in direct customer contact or customer service, which included two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in a planning and development or public works related field; OR five (5) years of experience in direct customer contact or customer service, which included four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a planning and development or public works environment. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. Experience with the Brevard County Code of Ordinances, and rules, regulations, and practices pertaining to Public Works and Planning & Development is preferred. Experience working with Accela is preferred.
