As a Garage Door Technician, you will have a direct impact on our clients' satisfaction by ensuring safe and efficient garage door operations.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect and diagnose issues with garage door systems and components.Perform repairs and installations of garage doors and openers efficiently.Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance.Maintain accurate records of work performed and inventory used.Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions.Adhere to safety protocols and best practices while on the job site.Stay updated on new products and technologies in the garage door industry.Required and preferred qualificationsA valid Drivers license.A reliable truck or van.Tools for the trade or the means to purchase the tools needed.Open availability including weekends.Pass a background check.Strong mechanical and technical skills related to garage door systems.Proven customer service skills with attention to detail.Excellent problem-solving abilities.Relevant certifications in mechanical or garage door systems are a plus.Experience in a similar role is preferred.This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
