This full-time position will involve operating heavy trucks, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of goods. Your contributions as a CDL A Driver will be crucial in maintaining our commitment to delivering excellent service.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries.Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations.Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding routes and deliveries.Assist with loading and unloading cargo as necessary.Manage any documentation related to shipments and ensure timely delivery to customers.Required and preferred qualificationsValid CDL A License is mandatory.Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.Experience in long-haul or local driving preferred.Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELDs) is a plus.Prior experience in the transportation industry is beneficial.Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.The CDL A Driver will typically work within a team of drivers and interact closely with dispatchers to coordinate logistics.
