We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in securing network infrastructure. As a Network Security Engineer, you will help in protecting the organization's network and data, ensuring the proper function and reliability of network services.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement secure network solutions using technologies such as TCP/IP, routing, and switching.Manage and maintain Palo Alto/NGFW and Zscaler ZIA/ZPA security tools.Perform network troubleshooting and monitoring to ensure optimal performance and security.Develop an understanding of Zero Trust, SASE, and SSE frameworks to enhance security posture.Utilize automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform) to improve network efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security concerns and implement best practices.Regularly assess network security measures and suggest improvements.Required and Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.Proficiency in TCP/IP, routing and switching.Experience with Palo Alto/NGFW and Zscaler ZIA/ZPA technologies.Strong network troubleshooting and monitoring capabilities.Understanding of Zero Trust architecture and SASE/SSE principles.Familiarity with automation using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.Relevant industry certifications are a plus.This position may involve working collaboratively with both network and cybersecurity teams to enhance overall infrastructure security. Reporting relationships will typically involve interaction with senior network staff and management to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
