As a Criminal Defense Attorney, you will play an integral role in ensuring that justice is served while providing expert legal representation.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal counsel and representation to clients facing criminal charges.Conduct thorough case investigations and gather necessary evidence to build a strong defense.Draft and file all necessary legal documents, such as motions and briefs, on behalf of clients.Negotiate plea deals with prosecutors that serve the best interests of clients.Meet with clients to discuss their cases, legal strategies, and advise them on their options.Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.Stay updated with the latest developments in criminal law and regulations.Required and preferred qualificationsExtensive background as a criminal defense specialist in BigLaw or major law firms.Proven litigation and trial advocacy experience in complex criminal matters.Exceptional skills in legal writing, analysis, and reasoning.Strong grasp of ethical standards and best practices in criminal law defense.Experience reviewing, preparing, or teaching case strategy and procedural safeguards.Familiarity with technology-assisted legal research and digital case management.Track record of contributing to professional development, legal education, or innovation initiatives.This position involves collaboration with various legal professionals, including other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive legal strategies for clients.
