We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Urgent Code 14/10 Driver to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. As a Code 14/10 Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on the road. Key Responsibilities Safely operate Code 14/10 trucks to transport goods efficiently across designated routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and safety protocols to maintain a safe driving record. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle mileage, and cargo transported. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules. Assist with emergency roadside repairs when necessary and report any vehicle issues to management. Required and Preferred Qualifications Matric Certificate is required. Valid Code 14/10 driving license. Proven experience in driving heavy-duty vehicles. Strong knowledge of local road networks and geographical areas. Professional driving certifications are preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
