We are seeking dedicated Hospital Cleaners to join our team at Boitumelo Hospital in Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa. This full-time position offers a competitive compensation structure of ZAR 10,000 per month. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors, playing a vital role in the overall hygiene standards of the facility.Key ResponsibilitiesPerforming thorough cleaning of patient rooms, waiting areas, and common spaces to ensure cleanliness and sanitation.Dusting furniture, fixtures, and equipment to maintain a neat appearance.Restocking supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and patient areas.Disposing of waste and biohazard materials following health and safety regulations.Assisting in maintaining cleanliness of floors, including mopping and vacuuming.Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.Collaborating with other cleaning staff and hospital departments to meet cleanliness requirements.Required and Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Attention to detail is essential for successfully completing cleaning tasks.Prior experience in a cleaning role, particularly in a healthcare setting, is preferred but not required.The Hospital Cleaners will work closely with a team of cleaning staff and may interact with other hospital personnel to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
