We are seeking dedicated Hospital Cleaners for Bophelong Hospital located in Brits, North West, South Africa. This full-time position plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the hospital environment, ensuring a safe and healthy atmosphere for patients and staff. The position offers a monthly compensation of R 10,000.Key ResponsibilitiesThoroughly clean and sanitize patient rooms, waiting areas, and common spaces.Properly dispose of waste and follow hospital protocols for hazardous materials.Restock cleaning supplies and maintain inventory levels as required.Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.Adhere to infection control procedures and guidelines.Collaborate with healthcare staff to meet the cleaning needs of different departments.Complete scheduled cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively while ensuring attention to detail.Required and preferred qualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Strong attention to detail in all cleaning tasks.Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment.The Hospital Cleaners will be part of a dedicated cleaning team, working closely with other cleaning staff and collaborating with healthcare professionals to maintain industry standards of cleanliness and hygiene.This role reports to the Facilities Manager and engages with various hospital departments to ensure cleaning tasks align with patient and staff needs.Cross-functional collaboration is essential as cleaners work within hospital departments, following specific cleaning protocols to enhance safety and patient comfort.
