This full-time position requires individuals with a high school diploma or equivalent and a strong attention to detail. As a Hospital Cleaner, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for patients and staff, ensuring the overall health and safety of the facility.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms, waiting areas, and public spaces within the hospital.Maintain cleanliness of floors by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming as needed.Collect and dispose of waste in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.Follow infection control protocols and ensure compliance with safety standards.Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to prioritize cleaning tasks based on patient needs.Assist in the organization and preparation of cleaning equipment and materials for daily use.Required and Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.Knowledge of cleaning techniques and disinfectants.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.Must be physically capable of performing cleaning duties, including lifting and moving items.The Hospital Cleaners will report to the Cleaning Supervisor and will work closely with various departments to ensure that cleanliness and hygiene are a top priority.
