Company OverviewThe Company is a global manufacturer and supplier of electrical equipment and products, looking to establish its presence in the North American market under its own brand name. ResponsibilitiesProvide technical supportServe as one of the primary technical resources for all inquiries. Assist with product selection, cross referencing, etc.Provide feedback on factory documentation for the purpose of continuous improvement.Develop Knowledge base articles where applicable, detailing start-up procedures of new products.Maintain current knowledge of new products and applications, through self-study, hands-on testing of demounits. Products include VFD, HMI, and Electrical products.Assist in evaluating and repairing warranty cases. RequirementsBS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.1-2 years’ of electrical related experience or experience with industrial automation products.Experience with PLC, VFD, HMI, Servo, Control Networks, Motion Control and other industrial automation applications, including contactors, circuit breakers, MMS, etc. is a PLUS.Technical writing skills.Ability to operate effectively as part of a team.Customer service and phone skills.Professional, patient, positive, confident communication style and attitude.Organization skills, i.e. for documents, demos, work area and time management. BenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(K)PTOLong-term/short-term disability insurance.Life insurance
