We are looking for a skilled Garage Door Installer to join our team in Mesa, Arizona. This role is a contract position with a competitive compensation of $60,000 per year. In this position, you will play a vital role in ensuring customers have dependable and functional garage doors, which enhances their home security and convenience.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall residential and commercial garage doors and related hardware.Conduct assessments of installation sites to determine necessary materials and tools.Provide excellent customer service to address client needs and ensure satisfaction.Utilize mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues.Maintain attention to detail to ensure precision in installation and adherence to safety standards.Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient installation processes.Complete necessary documentation and reports on installation activities and customer interactions.Required and preferred qualificationsTechnical certification in installation.A valid drivers license.Your own tools for the trade or the means to purchase the tools needed.Your own reliable van or truck.The ability to pass a background check.Proven installation skills with a background in garage door systems.Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.Mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills.Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Pay is per job.The technical environment involves the use of industry-standard tools and equipment specific to garage door installation. You will work alongside a dedicated team of installers and service experts, reporting directly to a project manager or team leader.
