We are seeking a skilled Commercial Locksmith & Door Repair Technician to join our team in West Hempstead, New York. This full-time position offers competitive compensation at a rate of $30 per hour. The ideal candidate will possess a clean driver's license along with expertise in locksmithing and door repair. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the security and functionality of commercial properties, providing an essential service to our clients. We service retail and commercial clients in the 5 Burroughs and Nassau County. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform locksmithing services including key cutting, lock installation, and lock repairs.Conduct door repair and maintenance tasks to ensure doors are functioning properly.Respond promptly to service calls and customer inquiries regarding locksmithing and door repair needs.Assess security needs and provide expert recommendations to clients.Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.Collaborate with team members and other trades as needed on projects.Required and Preferred QualificationsProven locksmithing skills and experience with door repair.Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.High school diploma or equivalent.Relevant certifications in locksmithing are preferred but not mandatory.Experience in a similar role is highly desirable.This position operates within a structured team environment where cross-functional collaboration is key to success.
