We are seeking dedicated Bus Cleaners to join our team in Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa. This position is full-time and plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for bus passengers. The impact of this role ensures that all buses meet cleanliness standards, contributing to customer satisfaction and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough cleaning of buses, including dusting, vacuuming, and wiping surfaces.Maintain a checklist of cleaning tasks to ensure all areas of the bus are completed.Inspect buses for any cleanliness issues, reporting problems to the maintenance team as needed.Manage cleaning supplies inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked.Adhere to all safety and cleaning protocols to provide a safe environment for passengers.Collaborate with other cleaning staff to ensure efficiency and thoroughness in bus cleaning operations.Assist in special cleaning projects or deep cleaning activities as required.Required and Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Strong attention to detail.Previous experience in cleaning or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.The role requires a strong focus on cleanliness and maintaining high standards in service quality. Bus Cleaners will report directly to the Cleaning Supervisor and work closely with other team members to ensure all buses are kept in pristine condition.This position offers an opportunity to be part of a team committed to providing a positive experience for bus passengers while ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and safety.Compensation for this role is set at ZAR 7000 per month.
