We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team in Bochum, Limpopo, South Africa. This full-time position offers a monthly compensation of ZAR 20,000. The ideal candidate will hold a valid driver's license and possess strong safe driving practices essential for maintaining transportation standards and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and compliance.Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service or repair status.Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining safe driving practices at all times.Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery issues or changes.Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is secured properly and safely transported.Manage routes and follow schedules to ensure timely arrival at destinations.Required and preferred qualificationsValid driver's license is mandatory.Strong knowledge of safe driving practices.Previous experience in truck driving is preferred but not mandatory.Ability to work long hours and handle physical demands associated with driving and loading.The role will primarily involve working closely with dispatch and logistical teams to ensure operational efficiency. You will report directly to the logistics manager, coordinating daily activities and ensuring adherence to safety standards.Cross-functional collaboration is essential as you will interact with warehouse staff and management to streamline operations and effectively transport goods as needed.
