We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This full-time position will provide an important contribution to the organization by ensuring accurate and timely data management. With a focus on maintaining data integrity, this role will have a significant impact on our operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesInputting and updating data into various databases and systems.Reviewing and verifying data for accuracy and completeness.Organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files.Assisting with generating reports as required by management.Collaborating with team members to resolve data discrepancies.Performing regular audits of data to ensure quality standards.Providing support to other departments as needed.Required and preferred qualificationsEducation: Associate's Degree in Business or related field.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related position is preferred.The Data Entry Clerk will work collaboratively with various teams to facilitate data flows and support cross-functional projects. This role may report to a Data Manager or similar supervisory position, ensuring the smooth operation of data-related tasks across the organization. Data Entry and ProcessingEnter customer, employee, financial, inventory, and operational data into company databases and information systems.Review source documents for accuracy and completeness before entering information.Verify entered data by comparing it with original source documents.Update existing records with new or revised information.Correct data inconsistencies and resolve discrepancies.Maintain accurate electronic and paper records.Ensure timely completion of all assigned data entry tasks.Database ManagementMaintain and organize electronic databases.Perform routine database updates and maintenance.Archive outdated records according to company policies.Retrieve information upon request from authorized personnel.Ensure proper classification and storage of records.Assist in database cleanup and quality improvement initiatives.Record KeepingCreate and maintain accurate filing systems.Scan, upload, and index documents into digital filing systems.Organize physical and electronic documents for easy retrieval.Prepare records for audits and compliance reviews.Ensure all records are stored securely.Quality ControlPerform regular quality checks on entered data.Identify and report recurring data issues.Maintain high levels of accuracy and consistency.Follow company data management standards.Verify calculations and numerical information where applicable.Administrative SupportPrepare reports and spreadsheets as requested.Assist with document preparation and formatting.Support administrative projects assigned by management.Process forms, invoices, purchase orders, and other business documents.Coordinate with other departments to obtain missing information.Customer and Internal CommunicationCommunicate professionally with internal departments regarding data requests.Respond to inquiries concerning records and documentation.Obtain clarification when submitted information is incomplete or unclear.Assist customers or vendors with documentation requests when authorized.Confidentiality and ComplianceProtect confidential customer, employee, and company information.Comply with data privacy regulations and company policies.Follow information security procedures.
