We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in San Diego, California. This full-time position offers a competitive compensation structure of $135,000 per year. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing innovative embedded solutions, contributing to the overall success of our projects.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain embedded software applications using C/C++ programming.Implement cryptography solutions to ensure secure data transmission.Perform hardware/software integration and testing to validate functionality.Utilize debugging skills to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.Participate in the design reviews and contribute to the documentation of the software lifecycle.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to embedded systems.Required and Preferred QualificationsBS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics.Proficient in Embedded C/C++ programming.Experience with cryptography implementation.Strong hardware/software integration skills.Excellent debugging skills with a focus on problem-solving.Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, with a minimum of 3 years in embedded software development.This position will involve collaboration across diverse teams, including hardware engineers and product managers, to ensure that embedded solutions meet project requirements. Reporting relationships will be defined within the engineering department, fostering a cooperative environment.The technical environment will include various tools related to embedded software development, and team members will work together on hardware and software integration projects. Collaboration extends to other departments to achieve common goals.
