We are seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team in Phenix City, Alabama. This full-time position offers a competitive annual compensation of $50,000. The HVAC Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, contributing to the comfort and safety of our facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.Diagnose issues with HVAC equipment and implement effective solutions.Collaborate with team members to enhance system performance and efficiency.Document all maintenance activities and repairs conducted on HVAC systems.Respond to service requests and perform emergency repairs as needed.Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with safety regulations.Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies related to HVAC maintenance.Required and preferred qualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.Relevant certifications in HVAC maintenance are a plus.Experience in the field of HVAC, typically 1-3 years preferred.This position involves regular interaction with team members and may require collaboration with other departments to resolve HVAC-related issues. Success in this role is measured by the efficiency and effectiveness of HVAC system maintenance and repairs, as well as customer satisfaction regarding indoor air quality and comfort.The HVAC Maintenance Technician will operate using standard HVAC tools and equipment and will report to the Maintenance Supervisor. The position may involve cross-functional collaboration with other maintenance and facilities staff to ensure seamless operation of all building systems.
